KID PARTIES

Have a request table so your DJ isn't attacked by requests!

A game, a contest, a follow along.  Keep those kids busy and tire them out!

Follow alongs - A follow is when you lead the crowd in a series "moves".

"Follow me and do what I'm doing."

I have a "follow along" dance routine I have the crowd do to "Car wash" by Christine Aguilera that is simple, easy and fun to do.

I have a series of silly dance moves I do to Earth, Wind, & Fire's "September".

Including:

The water Sprinkler

Start the Lawn Mower

Row the Boat

The Shopping Cart

The Q-Tip

It helps break the ice, let's them know it is OK to have fun and be silly, and you’re there to have a good time.

Chicken Dance

Hokey Pokey

Electric Slide

Cha Cha Slide

Cupid Shuffle

Macarena

Have a dance contest. (Get approval from your client before you do this.)

YMCA

Limbo

Hoola Hoops

Mummy Wrap

Bubble gum bubble blowing contest

Twist

Conga or Locomotion around the room (turn around and go the other way)….

Have them yell/aka sing-a-long to WHO LET THE DOGS OUT  Louder!

Snowball

Spoon relay

Spoon dance (who ever has the spoon has to get another person to dance)

STRAWS - Bring straws with you hand them to the kids put them in a circle and have them pass a compact disc around the circle only using the straws. The compact disc can’t hit the floor.

PASS THE HOOLA Also have them in a circle holding hands put a hoola hoop on one kids shoulder the hoola hoop has to go around the circle using nothing but their bodies; they have to keep holding hands the hole time great game!!
